KERADANGAN DALAM TUBUH

When Edgar Guest once said “There’s no diet list I'll follow that would rule out cherry pie.”, he probably was too charmed with the anti-inflammatory properties of this fruit. 
Inflammation is an integral part of body’ immune system without which healing would be difficult. That’s a fact. Then why is anti-inflammatory diet so important? It is because, any hidden inflammation in the body is critical as almost every lifestyle disease is either caused or aggravated by it.


Here are some foods that are helpful in suppressing these hidden inflammations:
  • Sour Cherry, also called as the tart cherry is one of the best anti - inflammatory food.  It reduces inflammation significantly when consumed daily. Make sure that you go for the tart cherry and not the sweet one.
  • Broccoli is rich in beta carotene, Vit. C and the flavonoid kaempferol. These make it a good choice when looking for anti-inflammatory foods.
  • Red Tomato contains a compound called lycopene, which is specifically effective in reducing inflammation of lungs. You may also include homemade (preservative-free) tomato sauce to reap the benefits of Lycopene.
  • The isoflavons found in Soy reduces levels of C- reactive protein in the blood hence fights inflammation.
  • Dark green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and other greens are good sources of Vit E. This vitamin protects the body from pro-inflammatory agents called Cytokines.
  • Fatty Fish are rich in omega 6 fatty acids and are very powerful anti-inflammatory agents. Make sure that your diet includes fatty fishes like salmon, mackerel, tuna etc. at least three times a week.
  • Berries contain anthocyanin, which is found to be helpful in reducing inflammation. Choose from the different varities available and enjoy their goodness.
  • Fiber found in Whole grainsis found to reduce levels of C-reactive protein. C - reactive protein is a marker of inflammation in blood.
  • Resveratrol found in Red Wine is an anti - inflammatory agent. It is believed that taking meals with red wine reduces risk of heart diseases and certain cancers.
  • If you are a Tea lover, then shift your flavor from the regular tea to the more healthy ones like Green and White teaThese are rich in Catachins, antioxidants and play a vital role in reducing inflammation.
To help these foods help you get relief from the internal inflammations, ensure a liberal intake of fruits, vegetables and fluids. Stay away from processed and packed food, saturated fat, alcohol and always choose lean portions of meat.
